Which health insurance is the cheapest in Courtételle for an adult aged 26 or over?
In 2027, without accident cover: Sanitas (TelMed Basic) at 539.25 CHF a month with a deductible of 300 CHF, and Sanitas (TelMed Basic) at 419.80 CHF with the 2'500 CHF deductible. With accident cover: Sanitas (TelMed Basic) at 579.55 CHF, and Sanitas (TelMed Basic) at 451.25 CHF.
How much does accident cover cost in basic insurance in Courtételle?
For an adult aged 26 or over with Sanitas (TelMed Basic), the premium rises from 539.25 CHF a month without accident cover to 579.55 CHF with accident cover, at the 300 CHF deductible: 40.30 CHF a month, 483.60 CHF a year. You only need this cover if you are not already fully insured for accidents under the Accident Insurance Act (UVG/LAA). If you work at least 8 hours a week for the same employer, their accident insurance generally also covers non-occupational accidents.
Why is the FOPH-approved premium higher than the price shown?
The large amount is the FOPH-approved premium — the same one as on priminfo.admin.ch, shown under each price — less the redistribution of the environmental levies (the CO₂ levy and the VOC incentive tax). In 2027 every insured person in Switzerland receives 57.00 CHF, which their insurer deducts from the premium invoices: 4.75 CHF a month, the same amount for everyone, whatever the insurer, the model or the deductible. The ranking is therefore unchanged. This amount is not necessarily your final invoice: your canton’s individual premium reduction or a discount for annual payment are added where they apply. For example, the approved premium of 544.00 CHF at Sanitas (TelMed Basic) gives 539.25 CHF after redistribution.
Until when can I change health insurer for 2027?
Your cancellation must reach your current insurer by 30 November 2026 at the latest; the change takes effect on 1 January 2027. The premiums on this page are those approved by the FOPH for 2027.
