In 2027, without accident cover: ÖKK (ÖKK CASAMED HMO) at 478.15 CHF a month with a deductible of 300 CHF, and Visana (VIVA health plan) at 365.55 CHF with the 2'500 CHF deductible. With accident cover: ÖKK (ÖKK CASAMED HMO) at 514.45 CHF, and Visana (VIVA health plan) at 391.35 CHF.
How much does accident cover cost in basic insurance in Sonceboz-Sombeval?
For an adult aged 26 or over with ÖKK (ÖKK CASAMED HMO), the premium rises from 478.15 CHF a month without accident cover to 514.45 CHF with accident cover, at the 300 CHF deductible: 36.30 CHF a month, 435.60 CHF a year. You only need this cover if you are not already fully insured for accidents under the Accident Insurance Act (UVG/LAA). If you work at least 8 hours a week for the same employer, their accident insurance generally also covers non-occupational accidents.
Why is the FOPH-approved premium higher than the price shown?
The large amount is the FOPH-approved premium — the same one as on priminfo.admin.ch, shown under each price — less the redistribution of the environmental levies (the CO₂ levy and the VOC incentive tax). In 2027 every insured person in Switzerland receives 57.00 CHF, which their insurer deducts from the premium invoices: 4.75 CHF a month, the same amount for everyone, whatever the insurer, the model or the deductible. The ranking is therefore unchanged. This amount is not necessarily your final invoice: your canton’s individual premium reduction or a discount for annual payment are added where they apply. For example, the approved premium of 482.90 CHF at ÖKK (ÖKK CASAMED HMO) gives 478.15 CHF after redistribution.

Your cancellation must reach your current insurer by 30 November 2026 at the latest; the change takes effect on 1 January 2027. The premiums on this page are those approved by the FOPH for 2027.
